Your Dacor refrigerator has a service diagnostic mode that will allow you to identify and resolve any issues you may have with your unit.
To activate the Service Test:
- Tap the “Power Interrupt” button on your refrigerator display three times.
- Press the freezer up arrow twice until the display changes to “SE.”
- Press the “Power Interrupt” button to enter Service Mode.
- Use the freezer arrow keys to scroll between the different tests.
- After selecting the test you want, press the “Power Interrupt” button again.
- To end a test, press the “Power Interrupt” button.
For this guide, we will only explain the tests that will return an error code if a fault is detected. The other tests require the use of a multimeter and knowledge of the internal mechanics of the refrigerator.
A “PA” on the display screen means the tested component passed the test and is functioning normally.
|04||Sh||Freezer thermistor shorted||The refrigerator detected a fault with one of the system thermistors. Thermistors help the refrigerator regulate the temperature inside the unit.
